World Outgames Volunteer Management Course is about to be launched
During World Outgames 2009 at least 2000 volunteers will be making an essential contribution to a successful implementation in the fields of sports, culture, and the human rights conference. Many volunteers will be supporting events at different venues each of which will be organized by 2-4 volunteer managers.
In order to ascertain that our volunteer managers can represent World Outgames and carry out on-the-spot coordination and trouble shooting, World Outgames have chosen to collaborate with DGI-Storkøbenhavn who have specialized in project management training.
A three-step selection process is ongoing to fulfil World Outgames requirements. Volunteers whose backgrounds best match World Outgames needs are invited to selection interviews for the first volunteer manager course the focus of which will be sports.
The Volunteer Management Course is held in Danish.
