How to submit

Before submitting a proposal, you should determine under which conference theme you wish to present your work. There is a possibility to choose two conference themes, if you consider your work to address two themes equally. If you are uncertain about which conference theme to submit for, you can submit your abstract under the open theme category.

You can use this link to submit a workshop proposal.

Proposals should preferably be in English, but Spanish and French will also be accepted. Proposals in all other languages will not be considered.

Proposals cannot exceed 1500 characters.

Proposals should include a brief and concise outline of the work you wish to present, e.g. a presentation title and the main questions, objectives and results you will address. You should also clarify how your work relates to the conference theme under which you submit your proposal.

You should follow the guidelines in the workshop proposal submission. You will be asked to state your full name, title, country, e-mail address and preferably organisation, telephone number, mailing address and fax number. If you want to submit a self-organized workshop, please make sure you include this information about each presenter and the chair.

You will also be asked to inform us of any special technical requirements for your presentation.

You should indicate whether or not you need financial support to participate and present your work at the conference. To learn more about the criteria for applying for financial support, please read more in the Outreach Program. Deadline for outreach applications is 1 October 2008.
